AI notes: Felix Farley’s Bristol Journal was a major weekly newspaper in Bristol, England, launched in 1752 after a split in the Farley family publishing business. It became one of the city’s most widely read papers, covering news, advertisements, and local affairs. After Felix Farley’s death, his wife Elizabeth and later other family members continued the paper. It ran until 1853, later merging into the Bristol Times. Today, many issues are preserved in archives and digitized online, offering valuable insights into 18th–19th century British life and media.
