January 03, 1913

EVENING TRIBUNE, San Diego, Jan. 3, 1913

* French statesman Raymond Poincare
* President of France election victory

The top of the front page has a two column photo headed: "Suffragette Trousers Are Now The Rage Among Workers In New York" with subhead and brief text. (see images) The photo shows two women wearing men's overalls paining the facade of the Suffrage League Building. Surprisingly this issue is in good condition being from the "wood pulp" era. Very hard to find issues that are not totally fragile from this era in paper.
Complete with 20 pages, two small library stamps within the masthead, a little irregular along the spine, generally very nice.
