THE LITERARY VISITER, Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, April 14, 1815 A quite rare small-size newspaper from the end of the War of 1812. Various literary content but it also has part of a continuing article: "Lewis And Clark's Tour" which takes over 1 1/2 pages. Also an article on: "Bonaparte" and a poem: "The War Is Over, or the American Soldier's Return". The back page is taken up with the: "Summary of The News".
Eight pages, 5 1/2 by 9 inches, scattered foxing, in nice condition.
