ILLUSTRATED LONDON NEWS, England, Jan. 29, 1859  The issue has several illustrations related to Robert Burns (Rabbie Burns), the notable Scottish poet and lyricist. In this regard, the front page has: "The Burns Centenary, 'Alloway's Auld Kirk'". The inside has: "The Burns - Centenary - Burns In The Plough-Field Composing His Poem 'To A Mountain Daisy'", which is a double-page illustration, "Burns Cottage At Ayr", "The Room In Which Burns Was Born", "The Auld Brig Of Doon, With Burns' Monument And A Glimpse Of Alloway Kirk In The Distance", and more. See images for details. Great to have such coverage in a London newspaper.
