THE HERALD; A GAZETTE FOR THE COUNTRY, New York, Oct. 3, 1795 The front page has news reports from London, Bermuda, Plymouth, Northampton and elsewhere. Varied news reports carry over to pages 2 & 3. A feature of page 2 is an address: "To the Speaker of the House of Rep. of the U.S." which begins: "That viewing with deep & patriotic solicitude the present awful crisis of our affairs, verging from bad to worse...".
