(see images) Another related photo and stats on page 4. Only 11 times has a game been played between 2 teams that won the National championship the previous 2 years. This was one of those games. Not only that but they were currently the #1 & #2 ranked teams that year when they met as well. This game also took place shortly after the end of World War II.
