THE DETROIT FREE PRESS, May 4, 1930
* Post stock market crash of 1929
* Great Depression at the beginning
* Financial downfall continues
* Worst NYSE Saturday decline in U.S. history
The front page has a one column heading: "BEARS PUSH STOCKS TO NEW LOWS" with subhead: "4,867,530 Shares Sold, Setting Record for Half Session". The article continues in Section 2 which is not present. Still, would be good for framing. A nice Wall Street related item not long after the great stock market crash and at the beginning of the great depression. At the time, it was (and may still be) the worst Saturday decline in U.S. history.
Complete 1st section only with 14 pages, light toning and a little wear at the margins, generally good.
