The capital of the United States was in Philadelphia at this time while the District of Columbia was under construction.
The front page is filled with ads including ten illustrated ship ads, plus a: "One Hundred Dollars Reward" for a runaway, with details, and: "A Man Servant" wanted. Page 2 has much discussion in Congress on James Madison's resolutions.
Four pages, tiny binding holes along the spine, untrimmed, great condition.
