Half of the front page is taken up with ads while the other half is filled with Civil War reports, headed: "Notes Of the War" and having many subheads including: "The War In Kentucky--A Yankee's Account of the Military Situation" "A Change of Plan" "The War In Missouri--Federal Atrocities" "Arrest of Slaves by the Yankees at Cairo--Suspicious Englishmen Hovering Around" and "Discovery of Important Papers".
Page 2 includes an editorial which focuses on money, & also on pg. 2 are items headed: "The Beauregard Controversy in Congress" "War Rumours" "The Maryland Society" "Frauds In the Treasury Department" "Our Enemy, the Extortioners" "The Burnside Expedition" "The Railroad Interest in the South" and much reporting from the "Legislature Of Virginia".
News items continue on page 3 while most of page 4 is taken up with the printing of many Acts of the Confederate Congress.
Complete as a four page issue, never bound nor trimmed, and in very nice and clean condition.
