THE DAILY JOURNAL, Philipsburg, Pennsylvania, Sept. 22, 1893 The front page has most of a column headed: "FOUGHT THE ROBBERS" "Desperate Battle With Bandits on a Western Train" 'Engineer and Fireman Shot" "One of the Robbers Mortally Wounded--There were Only Three of Them and They Were Daring. But They Encountered a Plucky Crew of Trainmen". The article has considerable detail.
Four pages, archivally rejoined at the irregular spine, some margin tears. Somewhat fragile & should be handled carefully.
