The front page has a notable report headed: "The Fifteenth Amendment" "A Demonstration in Washington--Remarks by the President, the Vice President, & Senator Sumner" which takes almost a full column, & is followed by: "The Fifteenth Amendment in Pennsylvania--Re-opening of the Avondale Mine". The Fifteenth Amendment prohibited the denial of right to vote due to race.
Page 2 has two reports on women suffrage with: "Woman Is Coming" "Miss Lilian Edgarton & Woman's Rights--Lecture at the Cooper Institution--Woman Needs Education" and also: "Meting of the Advocates of Woman Suffrage"
Eight pages, very nice condition.
