A terrific issue on the premiere of the motion picture blockbuster: "Anger Management". Perhaps no better issue could be found to contain these ads than this, the leading newspaper from the home of the entertainment industry - the Hollywood area's prime publication. The front page of section E has the opening day review with heading: "It could have been worse" with photo. Better yet is a double-page advertisement for the opening day. (see)
Note: Where else might one find authentic, poster-size ads for Opening Day showings, in the most desirable Hollywood-area newspaper - as we were lucky enough to obtain this (and others) indirectly from the Los Angeles Times' own collection? It simply doesn't get any better! In over 40 years of collecting, we have yet to see such unique & dramatic coverage with truly top-shelf, eye-catching displayability (see images).
Page 13 of this section has a 7 x 4 inch ad for the opening day of "House of 1000 Corpses" (see)
Being offered are the Front Section and the Calendar Section, the latter being where the ads are located for a total of 82 pages, very nice condition.
