A handsome issue of the 18th century, with two decorative embellishments in the masthead & ornate lettering in the title.
Page 2 has a report which includes a list: "...of the states (which) were divided on the question respecting the ratification of the Treaty with Great Britain..." and followed by a list of: "The following States voted unanimously in its favour." and then: "The following States voted unanimously against the ratification."
Page 3 has a report headed: "America, Philadelphia, Sept. 5" which is a letter with various news reports including several items on the concern with international shipping. It is signed in type by the Secretary of State: Thomas Jefferson.
Four pages, very nice condition.
