* Premier David Ben-Gurion's statement to the Knesset
* Jerusalem is, was and will always be the Capital of Israel

The front page has a three-line, one-column heading: "ISRAEL OS SPEEDING TRANSFERS TO MAKE JERUSALEM CAPITAL," with one of the 3 subheads stating: "Premier Says He Hopes Its 'Mistake' Will Be Corrected - Holds Holy City Inseparable." The article includes his an excerpt from his declarative speech before the Knesset which says in part: "We respect and shall continue to respect all those states which are concerned for the freedom of worship and free access to the Holy Places and the religious buildings of Jerusalem," and continues, "But for the State of Israel there is, has been and always will be one capital only, Jerusalem, the Eternal. So it was 3,000 years ago, and so it will be, we believe, until the end of time." The entire text of the speech is found on page 5. Also on page one is: "U.N.
