The uncommonly bold & large front page headline announces a key event in the European theater of the war: "REDS LINK WITH YANKS" with the report beginning: "U.S. and Russian forces have linked in the heart of Germany...". Within 10 days Hitler would be dead and Germany would surrender.
Great to have this report in a military newspaper.
Four pages, tabloid-size, a few archival mends inside, nice condition.
