Although the State of Israel was formally created in May, 1948, it was not formally recognized by the United States until 8 months later, the 20th country to do so (the Soviet Union [Russia] was the first).
The center column on the ftpg. is headed: "U.S. Gives Israel Full Recognition" with subhead: "Trans-Jordan Gets Similar Status". The front page also has: "U.S. Reveals Production of Super A-Bomb." This declaration provided a de facto recognition back to May 14, 1948.
A very notable report in American-Israeli relations. Complete in 26 pages, light toning at the margins, small binding holes along the spine, nice condition.
