October 29, 1852

DAILY NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Oct. 29, 1852  All four pages are lined in wide, black mourning rules for the death of Daniel Webster.
Page 2 begins with: "Tributes To The Illustrious Dead" which takes two columns. Also: "Webster on the Evidences of Christianity".
Page 3 begins with a letter from the President, Millard Fillmore, concerning the funeral of Daniel Webster, then: "Public Meeting In Washington To Testify Respect for the Memory of Mr. Webster" takes most of the column.
Great to have this account in a newspaper from the nation's capital.
The bottom of page 3 has: "Woman's Rights In California" which includes a notice signed by: Eunice Smith.
Four pages, irregular at the blank spine due to disbinding, otherwise in very nice condition.
