A quite rare & early newspaper from Lexington. Typical news & ads of the day with over half of page 2 taken with a lengthy report headed: "The Seminole War".
A curious note by a customer brings to our attention the "Hon. J. Q. Adams" name penned at the very top (partially trimmed: see), which is typically the subscriber to the newspaper. John Quincy Adams was frequently in Lexington visiting Henry Clay. It is likely this was the newspaper he subscribed to during one of his visits.
Four pages, rejoined at the spine, very nice condition.
