Not only is this a report of Kennedy's assassination in his hometown newspaper, but it is also one of the few newspapers to be found where he is still alive at the time the edition went to press.
The large & bold banner headline notes: "KENNEDY SHOT Condition 'Critical' "  The first report notes: "Rep. Albert Thomas said today he was informed President Kennedy and Gov. John Connally of Texas were both still alive. However, the President is in 'very critical' condition, he said..." with more of was known at that time.
The front page features a photo of a smiling: "President Kennedy".
The complete issue with all 4 sections and 48 pages very nice condition.
