November 29, 1775

Continental Currency note of three pence from Hartford, Connecticut, dated October 11, 1777 during the American Revolutionary War.  The engraving on the obverse is the Connecticut coat-of-arms at the time. One signature, blank reverse, an old mend to the reverse, very nice, crisp condition.
Measures approximately 2 3/8" H x 2" W.
