ROTOGRAVURE SECTION only of the New York Times, May 18, 1919

* Curtiss NCs flying boats
* Transatlantic flights

The front page of this section has 8 related photos to the Curtiss NC airplanes attempt of Transatlantic flights. This event was very significant at the time, but was overshadowed just a few weeks later when Alcock & Brown made the first non-stop trans-Atlantic flight, and then of course the first non-stop solo flight by Lindbergh 8 years later.
Complete rotogravure section only with all 8 pages, irregular along the spine, generally nice.
