SCIENTIFIC AMERICAN, New York, October 14, 1893  Page 5 has: "The Action of the Eye", by Nikola Tesla discussing the functions of the eye and brain connection and contains has famous quote: "The day when we shall know what "electricity" is, will chronicle an event probably greater and more important than any other in the history of the human race".
"The front cover has "World's Columbian Exposition - Exhibit of the Reece Buttonhole Machine Company of Boston" with an accompanying article.  Inside the issue is: "Monument at Indianapolis Illuminated by Electricity"; "The World's Columbian Exposition - The Palace of Machinery"; "The American Yacht Vigilant"; "The English Yacht Valkyrie"; and more illustrations, articles and advertisements. 
Complete in sixteen pages, never bound, in very good condition.
