The front page has a three column heading: "80 Enemy Ships, 650 Aircraft USS Intrepid's Toll, Says Navy" with subhead. First report coverage on the Japanese kamikaze attacks on the USS Intrepid. Reporting on many disasters such as this were kept from the public, sometimes for many months, until the family members of the killed were all notified, giving the reason for this late report. Still a first report.
Complete with 22 pages, light toning ans a little wear along the central fold, some margin wear, generally good.
