THE WEEKLY MAGAZINE, Philadelphia, May 19, 1798  An uncommon title which lasted only from Feb., 1798 thru June, 1799, during which time it was suspended for 6 months due to the death of the editor.
Contents include a wide range of eclectic articles, one of which is pertinent to this day: "On the Importance of Preserving Forests in the United States" which takes over 3 pages. The back 1 1/2 pages are taken up with: "Intelligence" reporting the latest news reports of the day.
No imprint but Mott's 'History of American Magazines' verifies it was published in Phila.
Complete in 32 pages, 5 by 8 1/4 inches, nice condition.
