DAILY NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., Nov. 9, 1843 Page 3 has from Baltimore: "Departure of Emigrants For Liberia" noting in part: "...sailed yesterday...from Bond street wharf with between 70 and 80 emigrants destined for the Maryland colony on the coast of Africa under the patronage of the Maryland Colonization Society. They were all...manumitted slaves..." with more.
