Page 3 has a brief report with a small heading: "Mormon Mission" noting in part: "...The Nauvoo 'Times and Seasons' contains...letters of Joe Smith appointing G. J. Adams to accompany Elder Hyde on a mission to St. Petersburg, Russia, 'to be one of the messengers to introduce the fullness of the glorious gospel of the Son of God to the people of that vast empire. So Russia is not to be in darkness any longer."
