DAILY NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., July 22, 1843 Page 3 has a somewhat brief article with a small heading: "Joe Smith" noting in part: "The sheriff of Jackson county...published a long letter explaining the manner in which he arrested this distinguished personal & the troubles...encountered until Smith was discharged by the...court of Nauvoo...application has been made to the Governor of Illinois to cause Smith to be retaken...".
Four pages, very nice condition.
