The top of the front page, first column has a report: "Second Abdication of Bonaparte" which includes a report: " from France: "...He then read the following Declaration of the Emperor, to wit:-- Declaration to the French People. Frenchmen! When I commenced a war for the preservation of the national independence it was in the confidence that I should be seconded by a general union of the hearts & hands of my people...Circumstances seem now to be changed. I offer myself a sacrifice to the hatred of the enemies of France...MY POLITICAL LIFE IS ENDED; And I Proclaim my Son, Under the Title of Napoleon II Emperor of the French..." with more, signed in type: Napoleon.
This issue has a wealth of additional &related reports concerning the Napoleon War and rhe fate of Bonaparte (see photos) including a back page item: "British Parliament - Thanks To Lord Wellington" for his victory over Napoleon at Waterloo.
Four pages, never bound nor trimmed, folding at the middle of each leaf does not affect mentioned reports, minor margin wear.
