GLEASON'S PICTORIAL, Boston, Nov. 6, 1852 Of interest is the nice page 4 half page print of: "Sutter's Mill With a View of Coloma, California" and the facing page half page print: "Mission of San Carlos, California".
There is a related article: "California Views" which mentions in part: "...This as the spot where the first discovery of gold was made in the country...picture of California representing the Mission of San Carlos, one of the noted localities of the gold country & from whence are have returned enriched with fortunes...".
Other prints include: "View of the Baptist Theological Institution, Newton, Mass." on the ftpg; "View of the Court House at Pittsburgh, Penna."; and two prints concerning the fire department of Brooklyn, New York.
