There is also content regarding the war in America & portions of Canada, including a sermon in response to a day of thanksgiving: "A Thanksgiving Sermon at the South Church in Boston, New England, Occasioned by the Taking of the City of Louisbourg on the Island of Cape Breton by New England Soldiers". A print of an Chinese abacus (SWAN-PAN) is also present (not shown). 

Near the back is the "Historical Chronicle" containing reports of the latest news events of the day. Included are reports : "From the Pennsylvania Gazette" which tells of concerning with various Indians.
Complete in 48 pages, measures 5 1/4 by 8 1/4 inches with a full title/contents page featuring an engraving of St. John's Gate. The "Map of Africa" is not present.

A very nice magazine from the "mother country" before the French & Indian War with a wide range of varied content. This was the first periodical to use the word "magazine" in its title, having begun in 1731 and lasting until 1907.
