* Second voyage of James Cook
A one paragraph report on the second page mentions: "We are assured that Capt. Cooke...with some other learned Gentlemen, have actually set sail in order to make new discoveries in the South Seas..." with a bit more.
This was his second trip, the purpose of the mission was to determine if a continent extended from the South Pacific to the South Pole.
Eight pages, 8 1/2 by 11 1/2 inches, nice condition.
