* Report on the great plague (rare)


A notable issue from the year when the Great Plague was raging and also from the year of the Great London Fire.
The issue is filled with various reports from throughout Europe, much of it military reporting. A back page item notes: "...eight persons condemned at the Old Bailey for High Treason, were according to their sentence executed at Tybourn."
The bottom of the back page has a death report which ties it specifically to this significant year: "The Account of this Weeks Bill runs thus. The Total 213. Of the Plague 40. Decreased in all 2. Decreased of the Plague 16."
A single sheet issue, 6 1/2 by 11 inches, small worm hole at the blank spine, good condition.
