As the title would suggest, an anti-slavery newspaper from 18 years before the Civil War.
Among the articles: "The Dedham Anti-Slavery Picknick" "Letters On Slavery Addressed to American Wives & Mothers" being Letter II; "Mobs" "Fugitive Slave Case" has considerable detail; and there are various reports under the heading: "Anti-Slavery Items".
