EVENING PRESS, Island of Guernsey (in the English Channel), December 15, 1944

* World War II - WWII - William Joyce
A very curious issue, as Guernsey, an English-speaking island, was occupied by the Germans during WWII so all the news was pro-Nazi.
Among the front page reports are: "New Aachen Battle Raging with Terrific Vigor: Gallant German Defense" "Counter-Blow by Tanks Brings Americans to Standstill in Saar Areas: Bombers Torpedo Arctic Convoy" "Colossal Blows at U. S. Fleet in Year" and more.
Four pages, 12 by 12 1/2 inches, very nice condition.
