Three issues on the failing health of film star Rudolph Valentino...

RED WING DAILY EAGLE, Minnesota, a trio of issues August 16, 17 & 18, 1926  Each has a front page article concerning the near-death illness of famous film star Rudolph Valentino, including: "Valentino Out of Danger After Serious Operation" with subhead; and: "Valentino Worries About Pola As She Worries About Him--Film Star's Condition Not Such As to Cause Undue Anxiety..."; and: "Valentino Is At Crisis Of His Fight For Life" with a large photo of him, plus another head: "Physicians Say He Must Either Show Improvement Tonight or Predict That Death Will Occur Within Next Week".
Indeed, he would die 5 days later.
Each issue is complete in 8 pages, partially loose at the spine, some minor margin tears and margin chipping, generally good condition.
