HARPER'S WEEKLY (Supplement only), New York, December 23, 1905 The cover has: "Mark Twain 70th Birthday - Souvenir Of It's Celebration", which includes a large image of what appears to be a marble bust of him. The inside is dedicated entirely to the celebration and his life. The double-page centerfold, "THE DINNER AT DELMONICO'S IN HONOR OF MARK TWAIN'S SEVENTIETH BIRTHDAY", is particularly nice, and has only small binding holes. Other related images and supporting text are found throughout.
Complete in 32 page, only minor where, a few printing dimples of the front page, but overall good.
This Supplement is quite rare. Although they were originally included with the weekly issue for this date, most were never bound into the volumes held by collectors and institutions.
