Near the bottom of the last column on the front page is an article headed: "Death of the Patriarch, John Smith" being a descriptive article on the death of "Uncle John" Smith, the uncle of Mormon founder Joseph Smith.
He was the leader of the Latter-Day Saints in Utah from 1847 - 1848. Nice to have this report on the front page.
Eight pages, some tiny blank margin tears, generally nice.
