Page 3 has a few reports of naval encounters, and also that: "...at last a meeting was held between General Carleton and Mr. Washington, relative to the intended evacuation of New York, when...an offer was made to leave a considerable quantity of naval and military stores behind, if the Americans would relax in their prosecution of the Loyalists on which subject General Washington was to consult Congress...".
Page 6 has more American content including: "...The Loyalists in America, who, or most of them, are supposed to have been emigrants prove, that instead of diminishing the British strength, those worth people were an acquisition to it..." with more on this.
Four pages, 8 1/2 by 11 inches, good condition.
