* National colored convention

Page 5 has over half a column taken up with report from the: "National Colored Convention" "The Resolutions--A Just Tribute To Senator Sumner". The last resolution notes in part: "That, wherever Republicans have betrayed colored constituencies, we recommend that better men be elected to succeed them...". The convention was held in New Orleans.
Following this is: "A Colored Man's Protest".
Eight pages, nice condition.
