Here is a single leaf from the May 16, 1885 edition of Harper's Weekly. The print here is a full page captioned: "Champion Baseball Players" showing portraits of twelve players from various baseball teams, including James O'Rourke, John Ward, Joseph Hornung, William Ewing, and others. (see) I assume this is a early version of all-stars as each player shown plays a separate position. The opposite side has a related article on the opening of the 1885 baseball season
