* The Building of Washington D.C.

Page 2 has a report: "We...inform the public, that the buildings in the new Federal City are rapidly advancing: The Presidents house is built one story high; the Capitol and Hotel are in a considerable state of forwardness, and there are...fifty houses finished, among which are a number of capital brick buildings. There are upwards of 820 of the best artists and mechanics in the world now employed in the construction of that city."
The front page has a report concerning Indian troubles relating to a disputed boundary: "...The Indians...insisted upon the Ohio as the boundary between them & the United States...". French Revolution content as well.
Four pages, very nice condition.
