DAILY NATIONAL INTELLIGENCER, Washington, D.C., April 1, 1847  Page 3 has reports on the Taos Revolt, an insurrection by local of Northern New Mexico against the occupation of their land by Americans. Governor Bent and others were murdered. One bit mentions: "...a general insurrection broke out in New Mexico, and all the Americans that could be got hold of were massacred. The affair was so planned as to have the revolt simultaneous at their various points of concentration..." with much more detail.
Also a page 3 report: "Further Particulars of the Late Battle", being the Battle of Buena Vista, an American victory over a larger Mexican force.
Four pages, very nice condition.
