Page 2 has: "Mr. Crockett and West Point Academy" which is Davy Crockett's comments in the House of Rep. on a proposal to abolish the West Point Military Academy. Just 6 years before his fateful death at the Alamo.
Page 3 has: "Washington" noting: "The Capitol, President's House...which were destroyed by the British in 1814, cost $1,200,000. The rebuilding of the Capitol has cost $1,644,000; of the President's house 301,000 dollars..." and more.
Four pages, light damp staining, nice condition.
