Very first appearance of Walt Whitman's poem "After The Dazzle of Day"...

NEW YORK HERALD, February 3, 1888  On page 4 is a poem titled: "After the Dazzle of Day", reading in its entirety:

"After the dazzle of day is gone
Only the dark night shows to my eyes the stars;
After the clangor of organ majestic or chorus or perfect band
Silent athwart my soul moves the symphony true.
WALT WHITMAN".


This is the very first  appearance of this Walt Whitman  poem, as verified by the Walt Whitman Archive. Very significant as such. Complete in 20 pages with the Supplement, light toning, a few minor margin tears, very good condition.
