NEW YORK HERALD, July 25, 1862  Page 5 has: "Obituary - Ex-President Martin Van Buren" which begins: "Martin Van Buren died yesterday, July 24, at two o'clock a.m. at his residence of Lindenwold, Kinderhook, New York, in the eightieth year of his age..." with more, taking over two full columns.
Much Civil War reporting as well. Eight pages, various foxing, a repair at the blank spine, a printing error in the Van Buren report does not cause loss of text (see).
