THE PROGRESSIVE THINKER, Chicago, Nov. 24, 1894 Within the masthead is "Science, Supplemented By An Exalted Morality, the Bible of The Future." and also: "Progress, the Universal Law of Nature: Thought, the Solvent of Her Problems." both of which speak to the focus of this unusual newspaper.
Page 34 promotes the philosophy with a book: "The Encyclopedia of Death and Life in The Spirit World", and a note that this newspaper is: "A New Publishing House Proposed to the Spiritualist of the United States".
