NEW YORK WEEKLY TRIBUNE, June 20, 1866 The front page is dominated by a huge map of central and Eastern Europe headed: "THE IMPENDING WAR IN EUROPE - The Geographical, Political, and Military Situation". An interesting map showing the borders of countries at that time, many of the countries not event existing today (see).
Page 6 has a very lengthy review of a new book on: "Jefferson Davis" with many subheads (see). This takes nearly half of the page.
