THE ANALECTIC MAGAZINE, Philadelphia, August, 1820 This was a very famous literary-themed magazine, but this issue features a a quite rare full page engraving titled: "Military Academy, West Point, N.Y." Accompanying the print is a 5 1/2 page article on West Point. More typically such prints were removed from the issues long ago. And this engraving is in nice condition (see).
At the back of the issue is another full page engraving titled: "The Parthenon" (see).
Complete in 88 pages, full title page, disbound, measures 5 1/4 by 8 1/4, bit of minor foxing, generally nice condition.
