The top of page 5 has a one column heading: "32 KILLED IN CRASH OF CHARTER PLANE" with subhead. (see) First report coverage on the 1948 Los Gatos DC-3 crash in which killed many Mexicans being sent back to Mexico. This plane crash inspired the protest song "Deportee" by Woody Guthrie.
