Stroud became a world authority on birds and their diseases in a box-like little cell. He is a prisoner in Alcatraz, and has been confined in 'solitary' at various Federal penitentiaries for 40 years. This is his story..." This is the first installment of the Birdman's story and includes a small pencil etching of him with a bird on his shoulder.
